Gladiator scene

Well,I don't have the scene screenshot of the part I think was the best, because I watched it from the VCD on television, but if you watched it,then you might recall the 1st gladiatorial fight in the Colosseum of Rome where the main protagonist(Maximus decimus Meridius, aka the Spaniard as his Gladiator title, starred by lead actor Russell Crowe.) began his 1st Gladiatorial fight there,in front of the new Emperor of Rome,Commodos(starred by Joaquin Phoenix) who murdered his own father to acquire the throne, and ordered the subsequent execution of Maximus and his family.I liked this scene because of a few reasons, such as the fact that the viewers were able to see the grand Colosseum in its full splendor and its scale, when it was shown in a rotational camera motion, shooting the main actor from low angle revolving in 360 degree angle.
Another reason, was the fight between footmen and the calvary/chariots riders, against all odds, the supposedly losing side(Maximus side) turned the tide against the riders who had the advantage,it was because of his(Maximus) leadership ,valor and experience that they won the battle. Finally,I like this scene also because after Emperor Commodos discovered that the masked gladiator was Maximus,he tried to finish him off with his imperial guards, but the crowd of spectators cheered and demanded that the Emperor spare Maximus's and his brethren lives. The Emperor had no choice but to spare him because of wanting to gain the crowds favor, this shows that even with high authority, the will and the power of the people is far greater.(e.g:current Egypt revolution). That concludes my part.
