How The Matrix fits Plato’s Allegory of the Cave?
In Plato's Allegory of the Cave, the captives can only see the shadows reflected on the wall and they believe the shadows are real objects.
In Plato's Allegory of the Cave, the captives can only see the shadows reflected on the wall and they believe the shadows are real objects.
In the Matrix, people live in an unreal world and
carry out their daily activities as usual which they believe is reality.
Both the Matrix and Plato’s Allegory of the Cave show the innocence of humankind and the unwillingness to accept the truth behind the “reality” that they believed.
